Projects
"Power On Texas," Texas Education Agency Documentary
A complex undertaking, I researched and scripted this hour-long documentary, designed to inspire teachers and administrators to embrace 21st century technology and practices showcased in seven school districts across Texas.

"The Campus," Texas Education Agency Ethics Training Program
After nearly 300,000 views, this ethics training program is still garnering compliments from teachers who are required to watch it. Rather than present teacher ethics in a dull, didactic manner, I delivered the carefully researched training points in an entertaining and memorable "sitcom" modeled on the mockumentary style of "The Office."

Herbert Hoover Presidential Library
and Museum
I scripted the content and narrated and edited multiple videos for displays throughout the museum. Collectively, they tell the fascinating story of Herbert Hoover’s life, from childhood through his presidency.

"Hands of Time," American Heart Association
Created to celebrate the American Heart Association's 50th anniversary, this documentary explores the dramatic history of medical breakthroughs in cardiovascular science and treatment, which led to the lifesaving practices taught by the organization today.

"Capital of Innovation," PBS Series
This magazine-style program was a three-part series examining the entrepreneurial boom in Austin. I created, scripted, edited and produced the half-hour shows, which aired on Austin PBS,
KLRU-TV.

"Introduction to Geology,"
Dallas Telelearning
Working with subject matter experts I developed creative ways to present college course material in documentary-style videos for distance learning classes. Covering a wide range of subjects, the videos were initially broadcast on PBS stations across the country and later used in online learning.
